Home invasion in Oro Valley

Oro Valley Police Department responded to the area of 11000 block of North Meadow Sage in reference to a home invasion at about 7:50 p.m. 

An elderly female was at home when a 9- to 10-year-old white male knocked on her door and asked to use her phone. As the homeowner opened the door, three suspects entered her home and two of the suspects showed the woman they had guns.

The homeowner was tied up and the suspects stole items from her house.

The Department of Public Safety helicopter was called to assist Oro Valley Patrol with searching the area.  An extensive search was completed with no arrests at this time.  The suspects are described as follows:

  • White male 9-10 years old wearing light blue jeans.
  • White male 16-18 years old, with diamond earrings, blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
  • White female 16-18 years old, wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

No vehicle was seen or heard in the area.  Oro Valley Police is asking for the public’s assistance in this incident.  If you have any information on this incident you are asked to call 911, 88-crime or Oro Valley Police at 520-229-4900.
