I’m back, folks, and feeling much better.
With this last week came a new pair of shoes and the restart of running. It is absolutely amazing how much of a difference shoes can make. Just the way your foot lands can affect everything from your knees to your back to your neck. The first time I ran in my new shoes felt absolutely fantastic! I was so energized and encouraged by that endorphin rush that I really felt like I can now get back in my workout stride.
One thing I need to figure out in order to be successful is how to overcome emotional eating. The stress of kids, school, and a possible move has me craving McDonald’s and their delicious French fries at every turn. I would love to give into my cravings but know that if I did, I would soon be bigger than my house!
So here’s to new shoes, running, and controlling my stress level!
