If you’re among the football-challenged who could care less about the looming face-off between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, we know where you might get a little more devotion.
Our pets could care less about first downs, although they’d consider a new home a touchdown. They don’t know a thing about penalties for holding, although they’re big fans of holding in general. The calls of the game have no special allure for them, although they’ll hang on your every word.
In short, our pets pledge that you – not a pigskin orb – will reign supreme. Adoption fees for our pets will be $10 on Game Day, which includes sterilization, vaccinations and microchip.
Come visit our adoption center to see if you might find a partner who will have eyes just for you. You can be a hero even if you aren’t bearing nachos and chicken wings.
The adoption center, at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. You may also visit us online at www.pima.gov/animalcare
