A Northwest medical practice specializing in women's health has merged with a Tucson-wide family of practices.

Dr. Shawn Tassone and Dr. Kathryn Landherr have merged La Dea Women's Health and Medical Spa with the Genesis OB/GYN family of practices.

"Joining with Genesis OB/GYN allows us to offer our patients a broader array of services and continue our commitment to high quality health care services for women," they said in a release.

Since 2002, Dr. Tassone and Dr. Landherr, along with Kathleen A. Schlotec and Diane M. Goedecke, have been providing complete pregnancy and gynecological care as well as aesthetic services for women of all ages, from adolescence through the reproductive years and through menopause. La Dea Women's Health is located at 7494 N. La Cholla Boulevard.

The Genesis OB/GYN family of practices includes Crossroads OB/GYN and Ironwood OB/GYN serving central/east Tucson, and Generations Healthcare for Women and Grace Maternity and Women's Health with locations in the northwest, southwest and Oro Valley.

All physicians are board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Web site is www.genesisobgyn.org.
