Karen Rickson, formerly with Adair Funeral Homes, has joined Vistoso Funeral Home as a funeral arranger.
Rickson has been in the funeral industry since 1995. She was previously the bereavement coordinator for St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church, a release said.
Rickson is currently attending mortuary college to obtain her mortuary science degree. She received her pre-need license in 1997, cremationist license in 2008 and has a liberal arts degree from Pima Community College.
Vistoso Funeral Home has been in business in Oro Valley since 2008. It is a fully licensed funeral home and crematorium.
