Jonathan Tait, DO, has joined the medical group at Integrative Pain Center of Arizona, interdisciplinary, multi-modality pain care centers that have earned the American Pain Society Center of Excellence designation.
The company has two locations: 3945 E. Paradise Falls Drive, Suite 105, and 6567 E. Carondelet Drive, Suite 305.
Dr. Tait, who will focus on pain management and sports medicine, received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Warren, Mich., and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center.
He completed an additional year of fellowship training in spine/interventional pain management while in Michigan, and then a year of sports medicine at Virginia Tech and Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Tait is an Associate Research Faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arizona with ongoing research involving the evaluation and management of sports-related concussion. He is also a consultant for the University of Arizona Athletics for spine and sports related injuries.
Dr. Tait earned the Top Research Presentation from the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine. He was named the Press Ganey Outstanding Resident Physician. Prior to moving to Arizona, Dr. Tait was co-director of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Student Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Clinic.
