LA Fitness held its Oro Valley grand opening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, at 8850 N. Oracle.
“We’ve put the finishing touches on our new club, and you’re invited to see the results,” an LA Fitness representative said in a press release. “Bring your friends and family, everyone is welcome.”
During the grand opening, there were club tours, complimentary workouts, a Zumba class, a racquetball event, complimentary healthy snacks, kiddie trains, and face painting.
Located on the corner of Oracle and Hardy roads, the new multi-million dollar fitness center features state-of-the-art exercise equipment, free weights, indoor basketball and racquetball, leagues, group fitness classes, a swimming pool, sauna, Kids’ Klub, personal training, and more.
The latest Tucson area LA Fitness comes following the remodeling and equipment replacement in 10 of its clubs in the greater Phoenix and Tucson markets. The remodels aimed to complement the features already in place at each location while reinforcing the LA Fitness commitment to meet the distinct diversity of its membership base. Specific remodel work and equipment replacement varies by club, but includes some or all of the following: refinishing of hardwood floors in the cycling studio, new LCD televisions, refinished saunas, new carpet, lighting and paint/graphics, and new cardio machines, strength equipment, free weights and indoor cycles.
