Brake Masters stores in greater Tucson are touting their green practices.
The locally owned businesses minimize hazardous waste. They do not use underground storage or waste tanks, and utilize low-noise impact wrenches, as well as insulated compressor and storage tank rooms.
Brake Masters uses only non-toxic vegetable oils in its hydraulic lifts and drain separators, a release said. “We also employ extreme safeguards for use of cleaners and solvents using only non- or low-toxic chemicals and cleaners.”
The company stores all oil and other liquids in specially designed tanks. For further safeguard, storage facility rooms sit on separate concrete floated floors “to contain spills in the unlikely event one was to occur.”
Tools and equipment are intended to be “friendly to our neighborhood residences and tenants,” the release continued. The company strives for an environment that is “organized, quiet, clean and safe, not only for its employees and customers but for its neighbors as well.”
The company has four Northwest Tucson locations.
