The Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce holds its annual golf tournament and fund-raiser this Friday, June 6.
There’s a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start at the Oro Valley Country Club, 300 West Greenock in Oro Valley.
It’s a sell-out. There are 144 players in the field, the chamber said in a release.
The four-person scramble comes with contests, prizes, a raffle and a luncheon. Along with golf entries, the chamber also sold chances to win two American Airlines vouchers for flights anywhere in the lower 48 states, Canada, the Caribbean, the Bahamas or Mexico.
Proceeds from this year’s event benefit the chamber’s own Steve Engle Scholarship Fund. A year ago, the chamber purchased more than 300 backpacks filled with school supplies through its “Packed For Success” program.
Gary Grynkewich of Block Grynkewich, P.C., is this year’s committee chairman.
