Dr. Richard Casabona has completed a 24-hour course of instruction with the Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.

The Northwest chiropractor is now certified in traction-based Kennedy decompression techniques, emphasizing decompression traction for the treatment of neck and back pain, a release said.

He uses a Food and Drug Administration-approved computerized table to stretch the spine “in a safe and controlled manner,” a release said. Such decompression “procedures effectively control back and neck pain due to disc injuries, stenosis, sprain/strain of back muscles, scoliosis and more.”
