NPCCC award breakfast is this Thursday
The Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual meeting and awards breakfast Thursday starting at 7 a.m. at The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort in Oro Valley.
The program includes the presentation of the Pinnacle and Legacy awards recipients. The chamber also recognizes incoming and outgoing members of its board, and announces its new executive committee at the breakfast.

The NPCCC recently welcomed the following new members: Letty Huffman at Nova Home Loans; Stratton Advisors and Linda Stratton; ARBICO Organics, in Oro Valley’s Foothills Business Park; Sabino Artisan Chocolates and Dianne Trinque on Oracle Road; Planet Beach Contempo Spa, with Carlene Franklin and Rochelle Long in Rancho Vistoso; Flavor of India restaurant in Rancho Vistoso; West Press and Kathy Simonson; Friendship Villas and Andrea Blattberg on La Cholla; and the practitioners at Natural Life Holistic Oasis on Paseo del Norte.
Culver’s now open on Thornydale
Culver’s restaurant at 6905 N. Thornydale Road held its grand opening Aug. 3.
“Welcome to delicious,” claims Culver’s, the chain formed in SaukCity, Wisc., 30 years ago. It serves fresh U.S. beef in its famed Butterburgers, and the frozen custard is equally acclaimed. The dinner menu also includes fried chicken, beef pot roast and fish.
The restaurant opens at 10 a.m. offering its full menu. It offers both dine-in and drive-through service.
