Hughes Federal Credit Union is spearheading an effort to have Tucsonans sign a welcome banner for Sean Miller, the new men's basketball coach at the University of Arizona.
The banner is located at the Hughes Federal Credit Union office at 971 W. Wetmore Road, near the Auto Mall, and is available to sign through May 2 during regular business hours. In turn, the banner is being delivered to Miller at his office.
Live weekend radio remotes are also planned to get people to drop by.
"This is Wildcat fans' first chance to show support for the new coach with their very own personalized endorsement," said Robert J. Swick, president and general manager. "Let's give Coach Miller and his family a warm Tucson welcome."
