Tucson merchants have come together to revitalize the Fort Lowell Furniture District, an alliance of retailers, decorators, designers and consultants located on Fort Lowell between Dodge and Country Club in the city.

Eight businesses — Alexander’s Furniture and More, Contents Interiors, Copenhagen Contemporary Furniture, Illuminations, Mo’s Gallery and Fine Framing, Off The Wall Furniture Solutions, Sunset Interiors & Design Studios, and Tres Amigos World Imports — have reformed their association, a release said.

Fort Lowell Furniture District founders Jorgen Hansen from Copenhagen Contemporary Furniture, Carol Bell of Contents Interiors and several others thought “now would be a good time to revive and push the group.” Geo Advertising & Marketing is handling promotion.

“We’re all locally owned businesses, so from the beginning it’s been important to have this association,” Bell said.
