An evening of fine dining, silent and live auctions, and musical entertainment will help raise money for The Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra this weekend. The fifth annual StarStruck gala is set to begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, at the MountainView Country Club, 38759 S. Mountain View Blvd., in SaddleBrooke.
Harold Dixon will serve as master of ceremonies; Marc Weisel will serve as auctioneer.
Live music will be provided by HarpFusion, one of the most creative and exciting ensembles on the international concert scene. All of the music that HarpFusion performs is written or arranged by a member of the group, whose members are students of Carrol McLaughlin at the University of Arizona School of Music.
The event benefits The Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, an all-volunteer ensemble bringing music to audiences in Tucson and SaddleBrooke. SASO is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
