The Tucson Children's Museum "happily springs into Easter with many children's hands-on activities," among them bunny mask-making and story times. "Bring your basket for the egg hunt," an invitation said.

A free Easter egg hunt, with more than 5,000 candy- and toy-filled eggs, is being put on by the Legacy Church of Tucson from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, April 4. The hunt is being held on the playground at Butterfield Elementary School.

Green eggs and crafts are promised from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tucson Green Art and Farmers Market, 8987 E. Tanque Verde.

Kids can search for naturally dyed eggs, and there is face-painting, an egg toss, music and awesome prizes for the kids. It's free. Alpaca petting is included. Call Donna at 982-2645.

Green Things hosts its first Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3. There'll be plenty of candy, an Easter basket raffle, a face painter, a balloon artist and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. The egg hunt is at 10:30. Admission is $5 per child, with raffle tickets sold for special prizes at $1 each. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
