It’s home to 27-time national champions and U.S. Finals champions. Now it’s growing to meet the needs of the Tucson community.

All-Starz Cheer & Dance is a program for athletes ages 3-18. Pride has won multiple local, regional and National Championships, including third and fourth places in the 2010 U.S. Finals rankings and 27 National championships.

The organization has outgrown its 3,000-square-foot facility at 7620 N. Hartman Lane, and is putting the final touches on its new 9,000-square-foot building at 3970 W. Ina Road.

Owner Rose Miranda hopes to have the new facility up and operating by early May.

“We’ll have a new dance room, a party room and a tumble track,” Miranda said, excited about the expanded space.

With 27 national championships under its belt, Pride All-Starz had grown because its teams are so successful in competition, said Miranda.

“Plus, we have a family atmosphere, and we focus on teamwork, hard work and good life experiences,” she added.

Expanding the building also means expanding the staff. Pride All-Starz will add about 10 new people, including coaches, retail help and party assistants.

In addition, the organization will add new teams, such as a pom team and youth hip hop team, and classes in hip hop and hip-hop break for boys and girls ages 12 and up.

Summer registration will begin in May.
