Docent-guided wildflower tours are about to resume at Tohono Chul Park.

The Paseo del Norte park, celebrating its 25th anniversary this spring, offers "What's Blooming?" tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in March and April starting at 10 a.m.

The first tour is Tuesday, March 2.

"Are you wondering what those late winter rains did for the many germinating annual and short-lived perennial wildflowers native to our beloved Sonoran desert?" a release asked. "Then don't let your curiosity get the best of you."

Tours meet at the Overlook Ramada, last about an hour and are free with the cost of admission. Gold, pink and purple await.

For more information, call 742-6455. Park admission is $7 for adults, $5 seniors, $3 for students and active military $2 children ages 5-12, and free to members and children under 5.
