Applications for annual festivals and visual arts programs are now being accepted by the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance.
The organization seeks artists and food vendors in a myriad of genres, including ceramics, drawing/pastels, glass, authors of original books, graphics/print making; jewelry, mixed media two- and three-dimensional, oil/acrylic, digital photography, sculpture, textiles/fiber, watercolor, woodwork, culinary, spice and gourmet product booths, and food vendors.
Applications are sought for the Southern Arizona Food, Art and Wine Festival, to be held Oct. 17-18 at Rillito Raceway Park; ArtsFest 2009, a performing and fine art festival Nov. 7-8 at La Encantada; the Oro Valley Festival of the Arts, a holiday arts and crafts spectacular Nov. 28-29 at Oro Valley Marketplace; the Oro Valley Classic Car Show, BBQ & Blues Family Festival on Feb. 20 at Oro Valley Marketplace; the Casa Grande Arts & Crafts Festival on Feb. 27 at The Promenade at Casa Grande; the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Festival, March 6-7 at Pima Community College’s Northwest Campus; and Oro Valley Arts in the Park, a fine art and jazz festival April 10-11.
