The 2010 Arizona State Home Show is open this Friday through Sunday, Jan. 8-10, at the Tucson Convention Center.

The annual event provides "everything you need to put together your next home improvement project, whether it involves landscaping, contracting, design, entertainment, remodeling or anything in between," a release said.

One winner gets a $10,000 custom landscape makeover.

Rib Hillis, star of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," is making an appearance. Antique evaluations with Daniel Buck Soules of PBS's "Antiques Roadshow" are available. Hourly cash prizes are being given.

Tickets to the show are $8 each, with children under 16 admitted at no charge. Special 2-for-1 admission is offered to seniors ages 62 and over on Friday. The show is open to the public from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
