Habitat's 'Green living' fair Nov. 14

Habitat for Humanity's HabiStore and local "green experts" are bringing back the Green Living Fair on Saturday, Nov. 14.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at Habitat for Humanity's HabiStore, located at 3840 S. Palo Verde Road., Suite 201, the southwest corner of Ajo and Palo Verde.

Activities include information on growing a home garden, composting, green transportation and water harvesting. There'll be information tables and advice from local experts,People are asked to bring old, usable household items for donation to the HabiStore. Proceeds from HabiStore sales help fund Habitat for Humanity's mission of ending poverty housing in Tucson. For this event, e-waste items are being accepted for recycling, including cell phones, TVs, empty ink and laser cartridges, computers and other electronics.
