The annual lighting of the holiday tree at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort is set for Sunday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Live entertainment, to include the Flowing Wells High School “Choralaires” and “Strings and Keys,” fill the evening. Children of all ages can have a photo taken with Santa, and they’ll be able to decorate holiday cookies. Light refreshments are being served.
Actual lighting of the tree is planned for 6 p.m.
“The tree lighting ceremony is a long-standing tradition at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador,” said Lynn Ericksen, general manager of the resort. “We are always excited to welcome our neighbors to this event as we enter the holiday season.”
