Oro Valley artist Matthew Moutafis presents “Visions and Illuminations,” a one-man painting and sculpture show at the DeGrazia Little Gallery that opens this Sunday, Nov. 21, and remains up through Dec. 3.

Moutafis was born and raised in New York City. He has become “an artistic force in Arizona and the west coast,” using a love of color and classical beauty to create a “dramatic and distinguished impact” on the world around him, a release said.

Moutafis’ work is familiar to Oro Valley residents. He has more than 20 projects in the town, among them murals, bronze and meal sculptures, and the town’s logo.

The DeGrazia Little Gallery is located at 6300 N. Swan.

Moutafis may be reached at mattart777@cs.com
