ASSIST AT EVENTS

EVALUATE AND DRIVE
 Interfaith Community Services needs volunteers to complete in-home evaluations for potential recipients of its services. A medical or social work background is highly desirable but not necessary. Training is available. Volunteers are also needed to deliver meals to homebound clients and transport them to medical appointments and grocery stores. Hours are flexible, and mileage reimbursement is available. Volunteers willing to drive to the east and central areas of Tucson are especially needed. HELP AT HOSPITALS
The Northwest Medical Center needs volunteers to serve as baby cuddlers, messengers, drivers, gift shop workers, liaisons and emergency room assistants at its various branches. Training will be provided. Call 742-9000 for more information.
SORT AND PRICE
The upscale resale shop Sequels is looking for volunteers to accept and sort donations, price merchandise, arrange displays and assist customers. Shifts are two to four hours weekly, biweekly or monthly. Proceeds benefit students through the Amphi Foundation. Call Lisa Humenik at 696-5147 for more information.
GARDEN AND SELL
Assist in a gift shop, sow seeds or water and repot plants for Tohono Chul Park. Hours vary, and training will be provided. The park promotes the use of native, ecologically friendly, arid-adapted plants in the Sonoran Desert. Call Min Johnson at  742-6455  for more information.
HELP KIDS READ
