When publications such as yours print unfounded or inaccurate assertions without comment - regardless of the political point of view - you are contributing to the dumbing down of the American voter. A case in point is the recent letter (Ryan’s Plan Would Fix Medicare), which was chock full of nonsense. For example, the statement that the “Democrats took half a trillion dollars out of Medicare (the actual ‘Republican’ talking point is $716 billion) in the Obamacare health care bill” is wildly inaccurate and misleading and you should know that.
The “Big Lie” about the $716 billion dollars is being repeated so often that it is, unfortunately, being accepted as fact by far too many people.
