Pi Beta Phi’s motto is “Friends and Leaders for Life” and that rang true on March 6, when seven Pi Phi alumnae gathered for reminiscing, laughs, and fun at Splendido. “We might be the largest group of Pi Phi’s in one community in all of Tucson,” said Linda Barkwill, as six of the seven ladies who got together last Wednesday, reside at Splendido. “Our Pi Phi group consists of about 15 women who get together once a month usually at someone’s home to enjoy each other’s company and friendship.”

Members who attended the University of Arizona include Arra K. Hamilton, Mary Jo Vandiver, Barbara Wolf, Natalie Yound David and. Patricia Thomas Johnson. Other members include Theodora (Tee) Bell, from Iowa State University and Linda Barkwill, from Knox College.
