When employees have good health and personal fulfillment, those whom they serve are happier too. That’s a key part of the culture at Splendido, a member of the Mather LifeWays family, an award-winning not-for-profit organization founded in 1941. Developing a fulfilled workforce pays off for this leader in the senior care industry, with retention of long-term employees, high employee satisfaction, and national recognition for its services to older adults.

Splendido expects those whom it serves to be treated as unique individuals with distinct needs, passions, and interests. The employees are treated this way too. “Our commitment to serving older adults is equaled only by our commitment to our employees,” states Ida Alexandrino, Director of Human Resources, Splendido.

The strong Mather LifeWays culture at Splendido is backed by management practices that support employee growth, fulfillment, and wellness. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off and 401k contributions, medical/dental/vision coverage, free wellness coaching, and much more.

Splendido is having its first job fair of the year at Pima Community College’s NW Campus on Shannon Road. Career-seekers, college students, and retirees looking for full-time or part-time positions, can stop by the fair to review available jobs on Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Building A, Room 207 (Community Room). Among the jobs available are housekeepers certified nursing assistants, and members for the culinary team: cooks, servers, and server assistants.

For those interested in living at Splendido, an open house from 9 a.m. – noon will be held on Saturday, June 15.
