The Oro Valley Police Department will continue with its High Visibility Enforcement (HiVE) efforts during November on Oracle Road at the Magee and Suffolk intersections as well as one deployment on Oracle Road at the Pusch View and First Ave. intersections.

The department hopes to increase awareness and reduce collisions related to inattention, following too closely and failing to yield to other drivers.

Six motorcycle officers will be deployed at Oracle and Magee and at Oracle & Suffolk on the following dates and times:

Nov. 1, 4 – 7 p.m.

Nov. 7, 7 – 10 a.m.

Nov. 9, 4 – 7 p.m.

Nov. 15, 4 – 7 p.m.

Six motorcycle officers will also be deployed at Oracle & Pusch View and at Oracle & First Ave. on Nov. 27, 7 – 10 a.m.

Motorists are asked to be aware of the additional enforcement activity and drive safely.
