At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 5, the Tucson Police Department was notified of a bank robbery that occurred at the Pyramid Federal Credit Union at 2850 North Country Club. Officers from Operations Division Midtown responded to the bank in order to initiate the investigation.
Detectives from the Robbery Unit also responded to the bank to assist with the investigation. They learned that an unknown male entered the bank and approached the teller counter. He displayed a handgun to the teller and demanded money. After he was given an undisclosed amount of money, the male left the bank.
He was described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 28 years old, 5’06” to 5’10” tall, weighing 160 to 180 pounds, with dark hair and dark eyes. He was last seen wearing a red and white striped polo-style shirt, jeans, and dark colored tennis shoes. He was last seen running in an eastbound direction through the bank parking lot.
Anyone having information about the identity of the suspect or his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or 88-Crime.
