In hosting the first home meet of the season last week, the Mountain View High School struggled against Ironwood Ridge.
The Nighthawks' boys beat Mountain View 122-135, taking 11 first place honors in individual events.
The Mountain Lions had four first-place finishes overall.
The girl's team also performed well for the Nighthawks, defeating the Lady Mountain Lions 126-47.
Kelsea Wuoti was the only Mountain Lion to win in individual competition, taking first place in the 100-meter Fly, and then a first-place finish int he 100-meter Freestyle.
