Camp includes sports, games, arts & crafts, special guest speakers and the Tucson-Pima & Oro Valley Public Library reading program. Morning and afternoon snack provided; children must bring a sack lunch. No camp July 4th. Friday field trip optional but must have attended prior week. Pee Wee PE is a designed to stimulate fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, while giving children experience with various types of sports and sporting equipment. Small group setting. Minimum of four and maximum of six students per session.

Roller Roadies Speed Skating Camp From Fast Eddie's Skate School,

Learn inline speed skating from Fast Eddie, one of Arizona's fastest professional speed skaters! This camp is designed to teach the speed skating techniques used in the Olympics. Sprints, starts, relays and races for prizes will be part of the fun in this four-day camp. The camp activities will also cover basics of safety on inline skating, rules of the road, how to be "cool" on inline skates, stopping, turning, edge control, and other popular skating techniques. As an added bonus, several of Tucson's top speed skaters will visit the camp. Helmets and safety equipment required.

The Junior Staff in Training Program
The program gives older youths 14 and up the opportunity to develop the social, emotional, and mental skills necessary for future success in the workplace through working hand-in-hand with Summer Fun Campers. Interested teens must fill out an application, complete a screening and an interview. Applying to this program does not guarantee selection. There is a $50 fee for those selected to cover the cost of training and uniforms. Additionally, Junior Staff wishing to attend field trips will be charged the weekly $15 trip fee. All pools open May 24 and will be open Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.
Bring a can of food for the Community Food Bank and get in free. This summer, Pima County will offer a variety of lessons including parent/tot classes, water fitness, and competitive swimming at the novice level. Call your local pool to see what is offered and when to register. Thad Terry Pool swim lessons and aerobic classes will be taught by the YMCA staff.
