Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Gloria Trevi was determined to be a star from a very young age. She got her start with the girl group "Boquitas Pintadas" in 1985 and began her solo career three years later. Her rebellious spirit, ironic social criticism, and unique commercial savviness quickly blossomed into an international sensation, reaching millions of fans in Mexico, the U.S. and across Latin America. Her unconditional surrender to the music and her fans made her the most outstanding pop music icon of the 90s and one of the most talented, respected, and admired singer-songwriters of Latin pop. She has sold more than 20 million records, including her most recent album, “De Película,” released in 2013.
