Tucson's first festival for makers, tinkerers, builders, engineers, crafters, hobbyists and everyone curious about making cool stuff features workshops and discussions promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education as a critical element of Arizona's high-tech future. Maketopolis is family-friendly and collaborative showcase where young and old can learn and share the skills of making things.  Maketopolis is hosted by Xerocraft Hackerspace  and Maker House in the Downtown Tucson Arts District in conjunction with the statewide Arizona SciTech festival.
