The Evolution River Saga by local Tucson author R. L. Clayton follows the evolution of humanity starting now and moving forward.

Volume 1, Sea Species, is available in e-book, and in print from Amazon.com, and locally at Mostly Books, Antigone Books, and Westward Look gifts. A modernized retelling of the Tohono O’odham legend of Baboquivari Peak, a new species appears on Earth.  In eerie reality, how humanity deals with it is portrayed.

Volume 2, The Envoy, (September release), begins two generations later. It portrays the advancement of another species in the flow of evolution as it takes the necessary steps for survival.
