Fans of the perennial Australian rock gods, AC/DC, can breathe just a little bit easier. Rumors have arisen over the past week concerning the band’s retirement after over 40 years of heavy rocking. These rumors stemmed from news of poor health of founding member and rhythm guitarist, Malcolm Young.
In the wake of concern and opposition from residents living nearby, the Oro Valley Town Council approved the conceptual site plan for a 118-lot subdivision northeast of Ironwood Ridge High School on April 16.
For four of the last five seasons, the highly coveted NBA MVP award has been deservedly bestowed upon LeBron James. It made sense, as King James was unmistakably the most talented basketball player on the planet. LeBron has had the reputation of being a do-it-all player, a physical specimen, a scorer, a rebounder, a passer, an imposing defender, and a team leader. The only player to even come close to resembling a threat to James’ growing MVP trophy collection has been Kevin Durant, a somewhat one-dimensional scorer who has been the runner up in MVP voting during three of James’ four tenures. This season, however, Durant has had enough of being second best.

In March, the Oro Valley Police Department received multiple reports of suspicious activity at Oro Spa, located at 10110 N Oracle Road.
Northwest Fire District crews were called to the 2600 block of West Ruthrauff near Ruthrauff and I-10 just before 2:00 a.m. after multiple 9-1-1 calls were received indicating that there was a fire within the building.
There was a lawsuit making the national headlines through much of March. In involved a teenager from New Jersey who was suing her parents for—among other things—access to a college fund. The litigious young lady was one Rachel Canning, 18. As it turns out, young Miss Canning eventually dropped the case voluntarily, and has since returned home. I suppose that is a tidy end to the court case, but I can’t help but pick my jaw up off the floor when I read related news stories.
