  • TPD seeks help locating possible kidnapping victim

    The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a possible kidnapping victim, 23-year old Marveen Estrada. On May 23, 2013 at about 8:00 p.m., Ms. Estrada was riding in the passenger seat of a vehicle when they pulled into the Quickmart located at 5642 South Alvernon Way. According to a witness, Ms. Estradas’ ex-boyfriend, Ozziel Ramirez blocked their vehicle in with his vehicle, preventing them from leaving the parking lot.

    On May 14th, the Pinal County Sheriff Office arrested Robert Gilson, 28, of Tucson, in a string of thefts in the Saddlebrooke area. The suspect was an employee of Maid2Clean and was contracted by homeowners for services. While providing these services Gilson would steal jewelry and take it to various Tucson pawn shops.
