The Oro Valley Police Department was contacted by the Gilbert Police Department on Nov. 1, with regard to several incidents of ATM machines being stolen from local banks in the Maricopa County area.
On Nov. 5, at 1:40 a.m., Oro Valley police came upon two male suspects who were attempting to steal the ATM located at a Chase Bank in the 11500 block of North Oracle Road. The suspects ran from the patrol units; however the officers were able to locate both suspects and took them into custody without further incident. Both suspects were booked into the Pima County Jail.
The two suspects are Gerald Paul Cox (DOB 10/18/66) and LeVar Coryell Mariner (DOB 12/16/77).
