After 10 months in recovery, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is making appearances both in print and on television.

This week's issue of People magazine will feature an exclusive interview with Giffords; this is the first time the Arizona congresswoman will open up since being shot in the head on Jan. 8.

In the magazine interview, she talks about her incredible recovery, as she and her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, share pictures, and an excerpt from her new memoir, "Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope."

Giffords is still struggling to speak, but according to People, she makes one statement very clear in the epilogue of her memoir.

"I will get stronger. I will return," she said.

Additionally, ABC News has released its first commercial for the highly anticipated TV special featuring an interview between Diane Sawyer, Giffords and Kelly, which is scheduled to air Nov. 14.

The brief promotional clip features Giffords and Kelly sitting side-by-side, as well as Gifford and Sawyer engaging in conversation. The clip depicts Giffords as having, "the most incredible story."
