The Pima County Sheriff’s Department Regional Bomb Squad arrived on scene at Bank of America, 2080 W Ina Road, shortly before 12:30 p.m., in response to a suspicious package on site.

A perimeter was set up around the bank, which was evacuated following discovery of the package. A member of the bomb squad was seen exiting the building and removing his protective gear at about 1 p.m.

Officers on scene were unable to disclose further information at the time. Further details will be added as they become available.

It turned out to be nothing, according to Tom Piene, a spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

The package was sitting near the door, and ended up being full of tools.
