MARANA

On Feb. 3, at 2:57 p.m., Marana police responded to a call in reference to stolen property. The victim told police she arrived at LA Fitness, where she locked her purse in the women’s locker room. Upon returning some time later, she found her purse missing. Items missing from the purse included a credit card, a pair of prescription Coach sunglasses, a driver’s license, make up, and car keys. The total value of all items taken was approximately $1,000. The victim stated she would like to press charges should a suspect arise.

On Feb. 3, at 1:47 a.m., Marana police responded to a call in reference to assault. The victim told the officer she was traveling westbound on Orange Grove Road, approaching Thornydale Road, when another person passed her and cut her off. After passing the vehicle and coming to a stoplight, the driver of the other car exited her vehicle and started toward the victim’s vehicle. The victim rolled up her window in fear she would be harmed. The other driver began screaming at her, then punched the driver’s window. The victim, who said she would be able to identify the other driver, did not wish to press charges.
