Westbound Interstate 10 remains closed near Picacho Peak after an early-morning collision that claimed four lives.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported around 7 a.m., a semi truck traveling eastbound, losing control and flipping into the median.

The truck rolled into westbound traffic, hitting another semi and colliding with two other vehicles.

The crash is still under investigation, and authorities do not know when westbound lanes will reopen.

In the meantime, westbound traffic is being rerouted onto the Picacho off-ramp.
