The Southern Arizona DUI Task Force deployed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., in the Tucson-Pima County area to detect, investigate, and remove those drivers found to be impaired to the slightest degree from the use of alcohol and/or drugs on the public highways and streets of the community.
The Task Force consisted of officers from the Tucson Police Department, Marana Police Department, University of Arizona Police Department, Tucson Airport Authority Police Department, the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the National Park Service, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
During the deployment there were no fatal collisions.
