Pro golfers competing at Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain

The National Open Championship of the National Pro Golf Tour presented by Arnold Palmer Golf Management is taking place now through Nov. 4 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain.

More than 100 of the best professional golfers from around the world are competing on more than 72 holes for the richest prize in developmental tour golf this season: $350,000.

Play begins at 7 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday with a 36-hole cut.

There is no charge for spectators.

Arizona is well-represented in the tournament with 16 players, including previous NPGT winners Scott Harrington and Tom Kalinowski, Nationwide Tour winner Steve Friesen and current Dove Mountain record holder Jacob Rogers.
