Oro Valley police continue high visibility enforcement

During Monday’s deployment of the Oro Valley Police Department and its HiVE program along Oracle Road at the intersections of Magee and Suffolk, it resulted in the following activity:

55 Traffic stops

39 Drivers stopped for moving violations (i.e. running red light, speeding, failure to yield).

0 Drivers received citations for moving violations.

43 Drivers received written warnings.

16 Drivers stopped for equipment and/or registration violations. 

7 rivers received combination of citation and warning for non-moving violations.

0 Collisions

OVPD will continue HiVE efforts until the end of the year.
