The Pima Community College Foundation is hosting the Building Community Luncheon, Oct. 30, to introduce Chancellor Lee Lambert.

The luncheon will showcase the accomplishments and impact of PCC’s students and alumni, as well as highlight Chancellor Lambert’s vision of Pima’s role in developing partnerships to educate a thriving workforce in our community.

“The appointment of Lee Lambert as chancellor ushers in an exciting new chapter for Pima Community College and the PCC Foundation,” says Greg Good, chairman of the Board of Directors of the PCC Foundation. “This luncheon will give a proper welcome to our new chancellor and demonstrate that preparing a qualified workforce is a business and philanthropic priority for our community.”

The Building Community Luncheon will be held Oct. 30, 11:30 a.m., at The Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa, 3800 E. Sunrise Drive.  PCC community partners, including nonprofit organizations and all three state universities, will be showcased at 11 a.m.  Details are on the PCC Foundation Events page.

Net proceeds from this event will create the Building Community Scholarship Endowment Fund to help more students achieve an education at Pima Community College.

Major sponsors for the luncheon include Vantage West Credit Union, National Bank of Arizona, Raytheon, Sundt Companies, Tucson Electric Power and Tucson Medical Center.  To purchase tickets, visit the PCC Foundation “Register for Events” page.
