The search for missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis continues, as Tucson police are searching nearby lakes and ponds.
Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villaseñor said they are checking the water areas for any signs that may be connected to Isabel's disappearance.
One of the ponds being searched is located at Lakeside Park near Golf Links.
The FBI is still involved in the case, and police are continuing to interview neighbors.
However, after Isabel has been missing for a week, police still can't explain what happened to the first grader who vanished from her home on Broadway and Craycroft.
Family members say Isabel was put to be around 11 p.m. April 27, and on Saturday morning around 8 a.m. was gone.
Police have searched the nearby landfill, area neighborhoods and have seemingly come up short on leads.
