At approximately 11:17 a.m. Monday, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a found child in the 3200 block of W. Avenida Luna, in the vicinity of Camino De La Tierra and Valencia Road. Upon arrival, deputies found a male child, who was wearing only a diaper and black Champion sports shoes.

It was determined that the grandmother had been babysitting the child. She deemed the child still in bed, but then discovered that he was gone. When she located an open backyard gate, she immediately began looking for the boy. When neighbors heard her yelling his name, they told her that the child had been seen with deputies.
