OVPD needs help identifying person of interest in fraud case

The Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest regarding a fraud case.

On November 24, 2013, a Hispanic male entered a restaurant and fraudulently used a duplicated credit card belonging to a victim who never lost or had their credit card stolen.

The male is described as 5’9”-5’10” in height, 165-180 lbs., wearing a dark t-shirt, black vest, jeans and a baseball hat on backwards.

It is unknown if this crime is related to similar cases that have been reported to OVPD involving credit card fraud; however, in this case, the Criminal Investigations Unit was able to obtain surveillance footage of a person of interest.
