Preparing for the workforce
MUSD seeks to keep funding intact for JTED freshmen
Mountain View High School student James O’Neill is just one of more than 20,000 Pima County students who participated in the Career and Technical Education programs funded by JTED. His specialty is automotive technology. O’Neill is positive that, without the program, he would have dropped out of school during his freshman year in 2009.
JTED aims to provide Career and Technical Education classes to students in specialized areas, such as automotive technology, sports medicine and culinary arts.
