Tucson Police Department Aggravated Assault Unit Detectives, with assistance from the public, have been conducting an extensive on-going investigation and have positively identified the driver of the pickup truck that allegedly struck and resulted in the death of Sterling Lytle on June 28.
According to Maria Hawke, a spokeswoman with Tucson Police, the driver has been identified as 39-year old Jesus Xavier Zepeda, also known as “Javie.” Jesus is described as a Hispanic male, 5 fee, .08 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Zepeda turned himself into authorities Friday night.
Sterling Lytle was hit by an orange Chevy truck on June 28. The driver left the scene. About a week later, the 25-year-old Nogales firefighter died when the family took him off life support.
The family is offering a $30,000 reward. They say that amount will not increase.

I hope they hang this idiot! Glad they have finally found him, there can't be any reason why he did this.
