Pedestrian killed on Oracle Road 0 comments
A pedestrian was killed Thursday night after being hit by a car around 7:52 p.m. on State Route 77 (Oracle Road), at milepost 73.
David C. Anson, 64, from Tucson was crossing the road, on foot, in an area where there were no crosswalks, and little to no street lighting.
A Honda passenger vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old female, from Tucson was driving in the outside lane of traffic.
The Honda passenger vehicle struck Anson as he crossed.
Anson was pronounced dead at the scene.
